Starshine is a 45-minute weekly podcast with one main host and several segment cohosts.
Segment 1: Introductions and Spotlight News
A round up of the week's main news items that can affect the insurance industry. The host might also provide commentary in this segment, explaining some of the terms and ideas for the novice. The host might provide deeper insight into pertinent items or have a subject matter expert within the company on a guest to explain a pertinent issue in depth.
Segment 2: Company Bulletin
The Company Bulletin segment would have important and interesting company news.
Segment 3: HR Corner
A cohost from Human Resources would inform employees about changes to benefit plans, deadlines for submissions, or new career opportunities existing employees should recommend associates for.
Segment 4: Employee Focus
Each week an interview with a different employee is presented. The employee explains his/her job , an interesting new hire is spotlighted, or a retiring employee is featured.
Segment 5: Goodbyes
The host thanks his/her listeners and announces upcoming topics for future shows.
